LASER CUTTER DUCTING | 3D PRINTING DUCTING
The goal of this project was to increase the airflow through my laser cutter exhaust, removing smoke from the machine and workshop, keeping the machine and my lungs clean. A port to the side of one of the my 3D printers was also added to exhaust ABS fumes when printing.
The duct junction was modelled in solidworks and designed to fit a salvaged high airflow fan. An appropriate power supply was ordered and a plug was fitted so that the junction could be unplugged and removed easily for maintainance.

I enjoy visiting garage sales hunting for vintage and useful tools for woodworking and sheet metalwork.
WOODWORK
I enjoy working with timber to create gifts and additions for my unit. I have learnt mostly through passed down knowledge from my father and grandfathers, but also from trial and error, with many projects going poorly or not as originally planned.
